Privacy Policy

Super Core Solutions LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Train BJJ mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID identifier and, optionally, your name and email address. We use Sign in with Apple and do not collect passwords.
• Training Data: Session logs, techniques, focus points, notes, and other training-related content you enter into the App. This data is stored locally on your device and, for premium subscribers, synced privately via Apple iCloud (CloudKit).
• Health Data: With your explicit permission, we read workout data (duration, heart rate, calories burned) from Apple HealthKit to enhance your training logs. We never write to HealthKit without user action or sell health data.
• Social Profile: If you use social features, your username, display name, belt level, and gym are stored in our Firebase backend to enable the social feed, follows, and training partner features.
• Social Content: Activities, reactions, and comments you post to the social feed are stored in Firebase and visible to other users based on your privacy settings.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the App's core functionality (session tracking, technique library, analytics)
• To sync your training data across your devices via iCloud (premium feature)
• To enable social features such as the feed, follows, reactions, comments, and training partner comparisons
• To power AI-assisted features (AI Coach, Post-Session Insights, Notebook Scanner) by sending anonymized training context to our cloud processing service
• To send push notifications about social activity and training milestones (with your permission)
• To detect and import workouts from Apple HealthKit (with your permission)

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Apple CloudKit: Private cloud database for syncing your personal training data across your devices. Only you can access your CloudKit data.
• Firebase (Google): Authentication, real-time database for social features, cloud functions for push notifications and AI processing. Subject to Firebase Privacy Policy.
• OpenAI: AI features send anonymized training context (no personally identifiable information) to OpenAI's API for analysis. Subject to OpenAI Privacy Policy. We do not send your name, email, or account details to OpenAI.
• Apple StoreKit: Subscription management handled entirely by Apple.

We do not use any third-party advertising SDKs or analytics tracking services. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Data Storage and Security

• Local Data: Training sessions and techniques are stored in Core Data on your device. Free users' data exists only on their device.
• iCloud Sync: Premium subscribers' data is encrypted and synced via Apple CloudKit to their private iCloud container.
• Firebase: Social data (profiles, activities, follows) is stored in Google Cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit.
• AI Processing: Training context sent to AI services is processed in real-time and not stored by the AI provider for training purposes.

Apple HealthKit

We request read access to workout data (activity type, duration, heart rate, active energy burned) from Apple HealthKit solely to enhance your training logs with workout metrics. We:

• Only read data with your explicit permission
• Never share HealthKit data with third parties
• Never use HealthKit data for advertising
• Never sell HealthKit data
• Store matched workout data only on your device and in your private iCloud container

Your Rights and Choices

• Data Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data from within the App (Profile > Settings > Delete Account). This permanently removes all your data from our servers.
• Privacy Controls: The App provides granular privacy settings for your profile visibility, post sharing, and training statistics.
• HealthKit: You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time in iOS Settings > Health > Data Access.
• Notifications: You can manage notification preferences in the App or disable them in iOS Settings.
• Social Features: Social features are optional. The App's core training tracking works without signing in or using social features.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
